Dried Mango Slices




Dried Mango Slices, offered by us, are used for enjoying the acidic, tart, and slightly spicy flavor of unripe mangoes in all seasons. Dried Mango Slices, prepared from the flesh of the dried green mangoes, are used in curries and other dishes as a flavoring agent. The natural ripe mango flavor of our Dried Mango Slices is appreciated worldwide. Even when used in small amount, our Dried Mango Slices are very effective in adding flavor to the food items.

Used As :

  • It is used in foods to add an acidic, slightly sour flavor, especially in mixed curries and garam masala.
  • Amchur can also be used as a tenderizer, much like citrus juice, only a very small quantity stretches much further than citrus does
  • Many Indian vegetarian dishes have a tart, sour flavor, which can be accomplished with either Amchur or tamarind
  • In places where tamarind is not readily available, cooks use Amchur
  • The spice is also used to flavor pale dishes, where the dark color of tamarind would discolor the finished product.


Available Varieties Of Dry Mango Slices
There are many qualities on Dry Mango Slices Amuchur but the major ones for this product are as follows :

  • Grade - 1 : This quality is used in large quantity for food processing industry. The demand for the same quality is been in always high on export. The color of this variety is pure white.
  • Grade - 2 : All the major spices company uses this quality in large quantity. The acidity contain in this is more then 18-25% due to which the demand is always high. The color of this variety is off-white.
  • Grade - 3 : This quality is generally used for all the blended spices where the demand in North India is very high & all the smaller companies use this product in large quantity. The color of this variety is white brown.
  • Mix Quality : All other type of mixture of Amuchur comes under this quality
